Block foundations, garage floors, and pole barn floors stay on our schedule through the cold months, because they’re poured under-roof or below grade where weather matters less. Sidewalks and porches can also go ahead in winter — we use concrete curing blankets to protect the pour. Driveways and stamped or colored concrete are the most weather-exposed work and typically wait for better conditions.
That’s a real scheduling advantage if your project has been waiting on a contractor who stopped taking calls in November.

What We Build
Tidewater Concrete and Masonry covers the full range of concrete and masonry work for homeowners, builders, and general contractors:
Every service page carries real starting prices, not vague ranges — see what your project is likely to cost before you call.

Fair Pricing, Every Job, Every Neighborhood
We price every job the same way, regardless of which neighborhood it’s in. A driveway costs what a driveway costs — the quote doesn’t change because of the address.
You can see our real starting prices, built from actual recent jobs, on every service page.
Licensed, Insured, and Built on Hands-On Craftsmanship
Melvin King started Tidewater Concrete and Masonry in 2023, bringing a tradition of hands-on craftsmanship to concrete and masonry work. We carry an MHIC contractor license (#165168) and commercial general liability insurance through Scottsdale Insurance Company.

Where We Work
We serve Cecil County, MD and nine surrounding counties across Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania — not a single mileage number, since the Chesapeake Bay makes straight-line distance a poor guide to actual drive time here.
